Social networking for designers

I came across a website called design:related. It is along the lines of facebook or myspace but version specifically for designers. What a good idea! Just like any other social networking site you create your own account and have a profile. This is a place where you can post up your portfolio for others to see and for you to discover what those with the same passion as your own are creating. As others post up their inspiration you may take something from this to add to your own designs.

Hi Roy, I too eeynjod reading this piece. I'm a history student but since I started uni I've been looking out and cultivating an appreciation for adverts, typography and poster/book/album-cover-art. Reading your thoughts has inspired me to continue learning
